How much does the Friendly Nations Visa cost?

The main applicant pays two certified checks: B/. 250 to the National Treasury and B/. 800 to the National Immigration Service as a repatriation deposit (a guarantee, not a fee, which can be refunded in certain cases). That is B/. 1,050 in total at filing.

The balboa is at par with the US dollar.

What you pay the Government of Panama is small and fixed: a B/. 250 fee to the National Treasury and a B/. 800 repatriation deposit, which is a guarantee and not a fee. The larger costs are the ones around your file, such as apostilles, translations and certificates in your home country. We show each of them separately, so you know who you pay and for what.

According to the Immigration sheet, for the permanent stage you file the same requirements again, except the criminal background certificate and the check.

Dependents have their own fees. We confirm current amounts with Immigration before you pay anything. For every government fee and third-party cost we pay for you, you receive an invoice or the official receipt.

Apostilles and translations

Each foreign document needs an apostille and, if not in Spanish, a certified translation. Costs depend on your country and the number of documents.

Background and health certificates

Set by the issuing authority or physician.

Residency card and related fees

Additional official fees apply when cards are issued; we list them in your written quote.

Legal fees

We send you a fixed, written quote after your free consultation, with no surprises.
